Priyanka Chopra turned the world premiere of her latest Hollywood film The Bluff into a high-fashion moment, commanding attention in a custom armour-inspired ensemble. The actress arrived at the red carpet event hand-in-hand with husband Nick Jonas, and the couple shared affectionate moments while posing for photographers.
A Gown Inspired by ‘Bloody Mary’
For the premiere, Chopra chose a dramatic brown gown layered under an oversized fur coat. Once she removed the coat, the standout detail of the outfit became clear — a sculpted breastplate integrated into the gown’s design. The metallic structure echoed the armour worn by her character, Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, in the film.
The look balanced theatrical costume elements with couture craftsmanship, transforming a character reference into a bold red carpet statement. The structured bodice seamlessly blended with the flowing silhouette, creating a powerful yet elegant visual narrative.
Nick Jonas complemented her aesthetic in a coordinated brown suit, keeping the palette cohesive. The couple paused to greet fans and interact with the media before joining the rest of the cast.
Star-Studded Red Carpet
Chopra was joined at the premiere by co-stars including Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Safia Oakley-Green.
Directed by Frank E Flowers and co-written with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff features Chopra in the lead role of a Caribbean woman whose hidden past resurfaces when her island is attacked by ruthless buccaneers.
Beyond acting, Chopra also serves as a producer on the project alongside AGBO’s Anthony Russo and Joe Russo.
The Bluff is set to release online on February 25.
