Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is now set to arrive in theatres on May 15, the makers announced on Sunday, according to PTI.
The film, described as a laughter-filled entertainer, was earlier scheduled for a March 4 release but has since been pushed to a later date.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do serves as a follow-up to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh, which itself was a remake of the 1978 classic starring Sanjeev Kumar and Vidya Sinha. The sequel is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also helmed the previous instalment featuring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.
The new film stars Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in the central role.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra, the project also has Juno Chopra attached as creative producer. Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is backed by T-Series and BR Studios.
