For Netflix’s Maa Behen promotions, Triptii Dimri embraced celebratory dressing in a burnt-orange anarkali set by Drishti & Zahabia. Crafted in dupion silk and layered with organza, the ensemble strikes a balance between festive grandeur and modern elegance.

The silhouette features a fitted strapless bodice with a deep plunge that highlights the neckline, opening out at the back and secured with a delicate dori fastening. An empire waistline draws attention to the craftsmanship, densely embroidered with fragments of mirror work and floral motifs. The detailing softens as it flows into faint prints across the voluminous flared skirt, extending seamlessly onto the straight-fit pants beneath.

A sheer organza dupatta draped around the arms adds movement to the look, finished with richly detailed borders that echo the embroidery. Nude open-toe strappy heels from Eridani lighten the overall colour palette and ground the ensemble.

Jewellery and beauty notes

Stylist Lakshmi Lehr amplified the festive mood with statement earrings from Mortantra, while a stack of gold bangles and rings curated from Maya Sanghavi and Shri Paramani Jewels added layers of traditional glamour.

Hair stylist Seema Mane styled Dimri’s hair in a soft half-updo, keeping the focus on the outfit. Her beauty look remained fresh and luminous, with rosy tones across the eyes, cheeks and lips to complement the warm hues of the anarkali.

Styling tip

To amplify the desi charm of this look, swap the strappy sandals for leather juttis, add an embroidered potli, and accent the hair with tassels or fresh flowers. Stacking bangles on both hands can further elevate the festive appeal.
